Patient Safety Assistant (Variable Schedule)

Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse and Patient Nurse, the Patient Safety Assistant (PSA) provides close observation of a patient. The Patient Safety Assistant (PSA) assists in the provision of a clean and safe environment. Works as part of the interdisciplinary team. Supports the OSF Mission, Vision and Values. Lives and Applies AIDET?? with a Promise with every patient and encounter.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to follow verbal communication is important.
Ability to solve practical problems with a variety of variables and limited standardization, interpret instruction.
Problem Sensitivity: ability to tell when something is wrong or likely to go wrong, identify the whole problem.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
