CNA- Patient Care Tech - Med Surge (Full Time 3 12 hour shifts per week with rotating holidays and w

Reporting to the Patient Care Manager and according to department standards, functions as a member of the Patient Care Team to provide appropriate basic care to patients based on the ages of the patients served on the units. This includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, and observing patients for physical/emotional changes. Records pertinent information in patient charts and communicates with other Patient Care Team Members to ensure continuity of care. The Patient Care Tech (PCT) performs any combination of the following duties in the care of patients in the hospital, under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned shift.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School graduate or equivalent.
Certification as nursing assistant or EMT-B mandatory
Skills and abilities:
Must be punctual, dependable and conscientious individual.
American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS CPR.
OSF Ministry Workplace Violence Training,
Good communication skills.
Understands and demonstrates aseptic technique and principles, universal precaution and isolation procedures.
Collects accurate patient data and complete documentation.
Able to operate selected hospital equipment,
Organizational and interpersonal skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience within the hospital environment is preferred, but not mandatory.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
