LPC Healthcare has partnered with a valued skilled facility in the Ottawa area. A facility dedicated to caring for the residents in the community and supporting their families. They are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will:
Assist the Occupational Therapist in Planning, organizing, developing and administering of the Occupational Therapy treatment
Be part of an interdisciplinary team

Provide direct patient care
Do a comprehensive assessment, treatment planning and provision of therapy
Contribute to program development, quality improvement, program assessment, and departmental policy and procedure development
Requirements:
Must be a graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant Program
Must be licensed in the State of Illinois
Must be comfortable working with Geriatric Patients
Provide skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant services / interventions in accordance with orders
Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient
Establish a daily routine and timeline Assess patient's progress
Positive energetic and professional
