This Quality Engineer will be responsible for leading quality assurance efforts for products and processes for this industry leader near Ottawa, IL.
This position will conduct process and internal audits, manage corrective and preventative actions and participate in continuous improvement projects.
This is a new position due to growth and expansion for a company that hasn't had a layoff in over 40 years and is well recognized as a top workplace.

Experience:
BS Engineering degree Prior experience in quality assurance in a heavy industrial environment (steel, machining, etc.). Knowledge or experience performing audits of material, products and processes. Must have hands on metrology skills. Lean/Six Sigma experience (preference to certification). Prefer ASQ CQE/Certified Quality Engineer. Lives near or open to relocation to the Ottawa, IL area.
