Positions
Responsibilities:
Secures information and interacts with vendor contacts and systems for inbound and outbound shipment operations.
Prepare management reports on carrier freight volumes and performance.
Update logistics system with rates, surcharges, or service standards as dictated by negotiations, carrier tariffs, and/or logistics network changes.
Develop and implement real-time dashboards and reports.
Work with cross-functional teams to improve and develop efficient processes and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 2
years of experience in logistics and transportation a plus Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
SQL and Microsoft Access knowledge a plus Capability to learn and use company specific business information systems relevant to the position Ability to work independently and multi-task Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills, extremely detailed and accurate Ability to demonstrate proven analytical skills Strong customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, voluntary life, long term disability, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, employee assistance program, employee discount program, flexible spending accounts, and 401(k) retirement plan with matching employer contribution.
